2. A Brilliant Visual Update
As with all remasters and remakes one of the biggest changes is the graphics update. Tony Hawk’s as a series was never classed as being visually great for its time, but this remake looks simply brilliant.
Thankfully the visuals that were showcased before it was released are exactly how it looks when you play. The lightning and the atmosphere comes to life across the game, with no problems in frame rates.
While the levels have been replicated as they were 20 years ago, they all have a new style and look which is made possible by the visuals. Levels such as the Hanger, Street and Venice Beach are bright and colourful while NY City and Burnside look brilliant at night.
While it won't win awards for its look visually it is still a fantastic update and does the iconic series justice in 2020.
