6 Xbox One Exclusives PS4 Owners Should Be Jealous Of

2. Ori & The Blind Forest

Ori And The Blind Forest is a 2D, Metroidvania-style platformer with a stunning art style that makes Rayman Legends’ visual design look like something that belongs on a fridge rather than in a museum.

However, while an art-house platformer with a stunning orchestral score, Ori And The Blind Forest is also a challenging and complex game that has a range of different abilities to learn and master, dozens of individual and optional dungeons to complete, and escape sequences to conquer before snapping your controller in half due to repeatedly being smothered to death by blue fog.

It also has lovable characters that tug at your heartstrings and have you weeping in the opening 15 minutes, and, while backtracking in most games is an unavoidable chore, exploring the same striking locales in Ori is a delight because of how there is always new things to discover, and because of how fun it is to constantly bash enemies into thorny walls and catapult their own projectiles back at them.

As a charming and engrossing platformer that leaves an impression by making you cry and lose all dignity as a man, Ori And The Blind Forest is an unforgettable masterpiece exclusive that, for once, doesn’t have Sony’s name attached to it.
