7 Best WWE Video Games For Recreating The Royal Rumble
2. WWE SmackDown! Here Comes The Pain
For many, Here Comes The Pain still holds up as the best WWE game of all time. This brilliance, of course, transferred itself into the game's Rumble match. The frenetic nature of the past game's Royal Rumble was kept in tact while improved graphics and a more fluid yet realistic gameplay took the experience to another level. As you can see, the chaos was reduced slightly as the number of superstars permitted in the ring at one time decreased by two to six, but the action was still exciting as all six spots had to be filled, no matter how quickly the previous stars were eliminated. The simplicity of eliminating your opponent via an Irish whip was kept in tact. Although, you did have to kick your opponent once they had gone over the top rope or they would hold on and roll back in.
