5. Circus Master (Rolo To The Rescue)
Rolo To The Rescue was a much overlooked game on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. Perhaps the cutesy characters or the childish looking cartoony graphics put some people off but let me assure you that Rolo is not just a kids game. It gets incredibly difficult, incredibly quickly and with over 70 levels (including secret ones) plus no save function, any child that completes this game is a hero. The main villain in the game is the Circus Master, who has stolen Rolo's mother and refuses to return her. In order to make Rolo's task of freeing her more difficult the Circus Master has abducted all of his friends too and locked them in cages throughout the world, requiring Rolo to save them in order to aid him in his quest. Why has he done all this, you ask? Just because, that's why. Jerks don't need reasons. In all honesty, he'd probably be higher on this list if he didn't totally rock that top hat or throw three (three!) versions of his own head as an attack!
