No, this is not referring to games played on a TV screen using other connected consoles. These are actual games downloaded directly into the TV itself. Another by-product of smart technology, modern day televisions can do so much more than just connect to cable or satellite networks.

These TVs are able to run most kinds of apps your phone or tablet could. On one side this is fairly obvious given streaming platforms are largely replacing cable based entertainment and as such your TV has to be able to connect to the likes of Netflix, Disney+, etc.

But why stop there as you will be able to download other forms of entertainment onto your big LED screens too, including games. Smart TVs such as those sold by Samsung have very easily navigable menus that lets you access and download game apps with a click of your remote.
