7. Star Wars Battlefront
Even a Star Wars novice has noticed Battlefront's impending release from the corner of their eye, looking really rather awesome. Essentially starting out being labelled 'Battlefield: Star Wars Edition', its simplistic approach to combat actually is aimed to get fans of all ages involved in its 40-player battles. The beta was a rollickingly brilliant time depicting the opening Hoth battle from The Empire Strikes Back, and with Episode VII out in just over a month, it's safe to say Star Wars fever is about to be weaponised in full. Alongside controlling a range of Rebel Alliance soldiers or Stormtroopers, various 'heroes' on both sides of the fence make an appearance from Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett to Emperor Palpatine. The game will feature various co-operative and competitive multiplayer modes, but no single-player campaign in full, which is something destined to split Star Wars Battlefront's reception right down the middle come November 17th.
