6. Prologue And Opening Missions
So I've got to admit that when I jumped into GTA V and found myself in the prologue mission, it didn't exactly grab me straight off the bat. I mean, the story of a heist gone wrong wasn't exactly un-exciting, it just didn't have any context. Luckily, as the game finally graduates into Los Santos and Blaine County, the prologue becomes more important. This was a mission all about the bond between Michael and Trevor. And, knowing Rockstar, I think there might be a few more plot points hidden away in there as I continue the main story (I am only halfway through the game after all) The opening missions introduce you to the new world of Los Santos in all it's HD goodness. We are introduced to the new Michael, a very much tamer man than before) and then finally Franklin. The characterisation is, as always, top notch but the real star of the show is the city itself. As you begin GTA V's sprawling main story line, you are finally introduced to what this game could (and regularly does) achieve.
