7 Reasons Far Cry 5 Could Be The Most Controversial Game Ever
3. It Hits Home...
Nothing hurts more than valid criticism. Especially when one has a hard time accepting it.
The main issue that the subjects - or the source material - of the game might have with it, is that it will rightfully mock their views and provide interesting observations regarding their values. By providing a valid, interesting voice in the discussion about the situation of present-day America, the game probably won't influence those who are overtly convicted about being right, even when facts prove otherwise.
It seems that Ubisoft has everything to lose and nothing to gain by deciding to comment on the present state of America through its newest product. That's a bold move, and one that should really be applauded.
If Far Cry 5 can make just one person reconsider their views, it may already label itself a success. At least, in that regard.
