7 Reasons Geek and Sundry Is An Awesome YouTube Channel

1. TableTop

Catan Hands down my favorite show offered by G&S, TableTop is a twice-monthly show where geeky stars play board games together. That might not sound all that interesting, but believe it or not, it's an absolute blast. Hosted by Wil Wheaton, TableTop introduces casual board gamers to a new, amazing world that extends past cliche games like Monopoly or Scrabble. Wheaton and a rotating group of guest stars play games that you could only find on the specialty shelf of most game stores. Through this, I've discovered incredible tabletop games like Forbidden Island, Elder Sign, SmallWorld, and Pandemic. But the real selling point of the show is the sincere enthusiasm and joy Wheaton gets out of sharing these games with his friends and the viewers. Even though he almost never wins, it's clear he has so much fun getting into the games and spending quality time with people. He always brings up playing these games with his family, and you can tell he really wants us as viewers to do the same. There is nothing more fun than the company of loved ones, and Wheaton takes pride in inspiring us to play together.
