Being a Pokemon fan back in the day was like being a part of the world's biggest clubhouse. With TV Shows, Movies, and countless events taking place all over the world, it seemed that wherever you went you'd be met with a healthy dose of pocket monsters.

The events especially drew a lot of fan focus because more often than not, exclusive cards or download stations for rare or unique pokemon would be unveiled to the masses. Trust me if you were walking around with a one-time Pokemon then you were the talk of the playground at my school!

That being said, while this level of Pokemon fever has died down, GameFreak still knows how to reward die-hard fans who are chomping at the bit for new adventures and has routinely hidden rare and unique pokemon in the demos released for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire as well as for Sun and Moon.

By completing certain tasks, and being lucky enough to encounter the Pokemon in the first place, players were able to transfer them into the main game upon release.

Some like the Japanese exclusive Steelix were only available in this mode, meaning that if you wanted to catch them all you'd have to delve deep into demos to do so!
