7. Undertale - They Remember

Undertale is a game that sticks with you after you play it.

But funnily enough, YOU also stick with Undertale.

Throughout the game the characters not only speak directly to you, but they often acknowledge your ability to save and reload the game. Right at the start of the game, you are rescued by the kind and caring Tauriel who not only cooks for you your favourite pie but also provides for you a safe haven to live. It’s all very rosy and sweet until you decide to leave.

Tauriel pleads with you to stay, even going as far as forcing you to face her in battle to prove you're strong enough to survive without her. Accidentally (or otherwise) if you choose to strike Tauriel, she takes massive damage and is killed instantly.

Whoops.

In a fit of panic and regret, you may restart the game, in order to rewind events and instead spare her. But it is when you do this, that you are made aware of the chilling fact that Undertale remembers. Flowey knows what you did, and he knows that you reset the game in order to save her. Throughout this entire playthrough, you are being watched, and judgement is coming.
