7 Things Nobody Wants To Admit About Persona 5

1. Over-Levelling Is Way Too Easy

It was around 35 hours in before I died, and that was thanks to a boss exploiting my character's weakness for a '1 More!', resulting in a swift kill. That said, I'd appreciate more challenge, as once the game lets you delve into the Mementos, you're free to explore, battle and level to your heart's content.

It's here where you'll start taking Requests for other targets that aren't specifically story-related, but it almost feels as though the game doesn't account for how much you can wander off the beaten path, being that doing so for even half an hour will over-level you for the coming main thread. This sort of thing could easily be chalked up to my own fault for indulging in combat, but for such a little time invested, affecting the overall challenge of the whole game is a marked negative.

Why there isn't anything in place to make a check of the player's level and abilities, before then tailoring enemy damage, is beyond me, as even if we go with the assumption that random fights shouldn't always be a challenge, I've completely steamrolled all the bosses so far, too.
