7 Times The Gaming Industry Fell To Lust

6. Developers Who Revel In Being Pervs

When you're posited as the director of a video game, what you say, goes. And as a result this means that across the industry auteur directors or even those with the ear of their publisher are able to push their wildest fantasies. One need only look at the man who swallowed every movie plot ever and put them into one franchise, Hideo Kojima for just how much a director can get away with. The man has pushed two hour cutscenes, ludicrous fourth wall breaking moments and of course, sexually charged moments to players and no one seems to be keen in trying to take the reins off of him anytime soon.

However while his collaborations with every single pop culture personality and energy drink sponsorships might be completely off the wall, his approach to sexual content is decidedly more simple. The man just wants to see !*$%. No seriously he stated that the character design for Quiet actually had bugger all to do with her absorbing sunlight through her skin and more just because he wanted to see people cosplay as her. You can't fault the man for being blunt in his wants, and he's not alone. Neir's Yoko Taro also wanted to see some lewd content because he actively encouraged the fans who were making sexual artwork of 2B from Neir: Automata to put it all into a zip file and send it to him so he could share it out!
