Just as your idiot self launches off the wall to reach the platform, push forward and attack to begin the Lion's Rage combo which will spin the staff around your body, this will hit the clone before he lands knocking him back down.

Rinse and repeat for about two minutes and you my friend have one very dead and one very humiliated copycat boss.
