Ascmuch as I detest the God Of War series for its horrible desecration of Greek Mythology, I will give credit where it's due in the games' art direction and God battles. Combining good old fashioned button mashing with smart quick time events in a beautiful world made for some memorable fights, and some of the last generation's best climactic moments. There is no question among fans, however, as to which fight stood out the best among the series' many deity brawls, and that was the Cronos boss fight from the third entry. It's one thing to clash with the demigods and Gods, and another to clash with the (literal) father of all Gods. Of course, simply fighting a giant being isn't enough to be worthwhile (as Skyward Sword proved), but God of War III already transcended this problem by turning the fight into a level as well. Though this isn't a completely original idea, the graphical power behind the game allowed the Cronos fight to stand among the most unique boss fights of all time.
Red Stewart is big fan of the entertainment industry, with insights into film, television, and video games for starters. Despite growing up in the 21st century's era of modernization, he prefers many retro era ideas over the current trends found in many of today's media. Personally he's an introvert who loves reading as much as gaming.
