7 Video Game Sequels That Mocked Mechanics Fans Hated

5. The Mako's Out Of Commission - Mass Effect 2

BioWare's beloved Mass Effect might not be doing so hot in the wake of Andromeda, but that doesn't take away from just how good those first three games were - at least for the most part.

Consensus dictates that the first sequel, Mass Effect 2, was the franchise's best entry - and consensus would be right. The first game, while innovative, also happened to have the Mako, a horrendous all-terrain transport that handled like ass and deserves to be consigned in the deepest, darkest black hole in the Andromeda galaxy.

Unsurprisingly, the Mako didn't make it back for the sequel. In fact, BioWare went out of their way to mock the notorious vehicle in Mass Effect 2's Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC. During gameplay, Liara mocks that the player's new chosen vehicle - the Air Car - is "better than the Mako."
