7 Video Games You Traded In After Playing Once

4. Clive Barker's Jericho

By far the most repetitive game being discussed here, Clive Barker's Jericho is a gritty linear FPS centred on an occult black ops squad trying to stop God's first creation from destroying the world. Convoluted may just be the appropriate word for the plot €“ written by none other than Clive Barker. If you think you recognise that name I suggest you go watch a little film called Hellraiser. As such I suggest that if you really like Clive Barker then you owe it to yourself to definitely give this game one play, but beyond that quick trade-in is on the cards because the game isn't particularly groundbreaking. When I said "repetitive" I mean that every enemy encounter in the game is defending against subsequent waves of enemies interspersed with boss battles that add a single gimmick in order for you to damage them. Thank you Clive Barker for this experience, but now it needs to go.

I’ve been a film fan for as long as I can remember, with one of my earliest memories watching my dad’s copy of Star Wars one rainy afternoon in the mid-nineties. Then the 21st century happened, and my interests developed from there – mainly including comics and video-games, and recently an introduction into WWE. It’s a good time for popular culture.
