By far the most repetitive game being discussed here, Clive Barker's Jericho is a gritty linear FPS centred on an occult black ops squad trying to stop God's first creation from destroying the world. Convoluted may just be the appropriate word for the plot written by none other than Clive Barker. If you think you recognise that name I suggest you go watch a little film called Hellraiser. As such I suggest that if you really like Clive Barker then you owe it to yourself to definitely give this game one play, but beyond that quick trade-in is on the cards because the game isn't particularly groundbreaking. When I said "repetitive" I mean that every enemy encounter in the game is defending against subsequent waves of enemies interspersed with boss battles that add a single gimmick in order for you to damage them. Thank you Clive Barker for this experience, but now it needs to go.
I’ve been a film fan for as long as I can remember, with one of my earliest memories watching my dad’s copy of Star Wars one rainy afternoon in the mid-nineties. Then the 21st century happened, and my interests developed from there – mainly including comics and video-games, and recently an introduction into WWE. It’s a good time for popular culture.
