7 Ways To Kill Time Until FIFA 18

Tekken 7 is due to land very soon and it looks fiercely awesome. It might not receive the press it used to as a series but the classic beat 'em up is still well worth investing a lot of time in - button bashers beware, early feedback suggests this one isn't for you.

Following this up with Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy at the end of June means there's not long to wait for a huge title to draw your attention away from FIFA mopery. The remastered trilogy should give any gamer worth their gamerscore a lot to do - some of us simply can't wait for this.

Things get a bit less nostalgic in July as the Nintendo Switch is expected to top the sales figures courtesy of Splatoon II. The neon, jellyfish themed paint warzone was a surprise hit on the Wii U and will no doubt attract gamers of all ages once again with its massively hyped sequel.

Finally, in August, we are due a game that might leave FIFA 18 in its dust for a long, long time as Middle-Earth: Shadow of War drops on August 22nd. Anyone who claims to dislike SoW's predecessor (Shadows of Mordor) is lying and should be ridiculed for such a claim - this is going to be amazing.

Plenty to do then. EA who?

Probably the only person ever to see all the endings of the awful Shadow the Hedgehog video game. Professional proofreader, football fanatic, lion tamer and occasional liar.
