2. Sam Is Lying To You - Uncharted 4

Did anybody actually believe Sam? Like really, did you buy a second of what Naughty Dog were selling from day one?

From the get-go, Naughty Dog pulling the old, "Oh actually, you've had a secret brother this whole time!" shtick was very suspect. So, when Sam appeared out of nowhere proclaiming that he needed a hand to get him out of a pickle, everybody but Drake was asking questions.

You could absolutely argue that this was the point (Sam is the embodiment of the lies Drake tells himself to continue adventuring because he's so in love with that line of work) but it didn't help with the framing of the 'revelatory' scene itself.

Nate is caught off guard, dropping his jaw in sheer amazement that possibly the shiftiest looking bloke since Uncharted 2's Lazarevic has been lying this whole time, yet we're collectively just watching saying, "YOU THINK?!"
