8 Best First Person Shooters Of 2014

7. Destiny

While Bungie's newest IP is lacking enough solid content to shift it higher up the list, Destiny is still one of the better multiplayer games seen in a good while. The fun to be had is a great call back to when Halo ruled the world, a joyful exhibition of violence and mayhem that will keep you locked to your seat for hours at a time. Bungie has created a fascinating world to play around in, one that does truly feel as alive and organic as they indicated. The map design is spectacular, with some outstanding scale that does what any good online experience does; transport you to another place so you can shoot up your friends. Destiny may not have the most depth in the world, but it's got it where it counts in the gameplay department.
