2. Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris
With all the ballyhoo surrounding the Lara Croft reboot and the recently-released Rise of the Tomb Raider, it's been easy to overlook this awesome little spinoff.
A sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Temple of Osiris ups the maximum player count from two to four, which any mathematician will tell you equates to double the fun. Osiris blends co-operative puzzle-solving with Gauntlet or Diablo-style dungeon-crawling combat.
You traverse moody tombs filled with the angry spirits of ancient Egyptian Gods or some such, and must fight hordes of otherworldly baddies using guns, dodges and, erm, staffs that fire laser beams (Lara's always had a penchant for the supernatural). It's not an easy game either, as the puzzles are quite a bit more elaborate than those in the main series, enemies are adept at swarming you and your friends, and there are plenty of tricky 'run away before the ground crumbles beneath your feet' sequences.
