8 Disney Worlds For Kingdom Hearts III Which Would Be Far Better Than Toy Story

Surely it’s impossible for both The Great Mouse Detective and Toy Story to be in Kingdom Hearts III. You can’t have Sora dumbfoundedly say “did we shrink, or did everyone else just get big” twice in one game.

So, even though we’ve already been to London and Big Ben before, The Great Mouse Detective would have been a superior world to Toy Story because, whilst Andy’s bedroom is clean, the wet streets of The Big Smoke are gritty, rough, and offer an entirely new perspective.

Changing into the form of a rat, Sora, Donald, and Goofy could have looked up at Big Ben and reminisced about the good ol’ days with Peter Pan, references to earlier games which would brought a nostalgic smile to long-term fans' faces.

Plus, with London being infamous for its bad weather, its world’s environment could have been affected by the constant lashing of rain, offering an alternative experience to the sunny and beautiful worlds of Tangled and Hercules.

Not knowing why and how Organisation XIII would have involved themselves with the world of The Great Mouse Detective, the movie still would have had the potential to be an excellent fit for the Kingdom Hearts series because of its setting, the differences in how you would have had to traverse around the world as a rat, and its villain Ratigan, a boss encounter which would have culminated with a tense and gripping showdown on Big Ben.
