So, picture this.

It's the second level of the almighty and over-the-top carnage simulator known as Dynasty Warriors 3. You've already smashed apart the Yellow Turban Rebellion and while your fingers are aching from smashing the same combo out over and over, you're eager for more.

As the main antagonist of this stage, Dong Zhou is revealed, as well as his monstrous defences in the form of the Hu Lao Gate you begin to rub your blistering hands together in glee as this is going to be one hell of a battle.

But wait, what's this? A cutscene of a panicked officer being smashed apart by a red horse riding demon of battle?

Oh, you best believe you're about to get beaten black and Lu Blue right now! Lu Bu is no joke whatsoever, and I know for a fact that every single player dies to this monster at least once, mainly due to their own cockiness but also because of how this guy simply ignores your attacks unless you're rocking the best weapons and stats in the game.

Imagine trying to land a vicious combo on someone who is straight-up refusing to acknowledge you're attacking them! It's no wonder the legend of Lu Bu in this series grew as it did because when it came to this legend he'd turn you into a mere myth in seconds.
