Castle Crashers is a very specific kind of game: despite looking rather innocent at first, you are facing an extremely vulgar and bloody carnage waiting to unfold over and over again. It's a sidescroller hack'n'slash, with loads of beefed up enemies intent on murdering your knights. After good success on the consoles, the developer decided to port this game to PC, and sadly, for no discernible reason, it kinda flopped with rather low sale count. Perhaps it was because the game is hard - as in one of the hardest I've ever played. And I played Dark Souls with a keyboard. Even the weakest bandits don't fall easily, soaking in hit after hit from your chosen knight. But then, despite the insane difficult, it's a rather fun and enticing endeavour. There are dozens of weapons, characters and pets available to unlock and even more so should you buy some additional DLC. There is a high probability that most of you aren't going to like this game simply because it requires a special kind of mentality to play, let alone complete. But it really is lovable if you catch its drift.
