4. Any Multiverse Difficulty Spike - Injustice 2

Not a specifically-labelled boss fight as such, but Injustice 2's fantastic Multiverse constantly throws up planets with alternate reality plot lines, characters and difficulty levels. In amongst all of this is the newcomer and fan-skewering difficulty spike - a random fight amongst many others where even if you've set the A.I. to normal, will suddenly turn into a roadblock of 10 hit combo-throwing insanity.

Seriously, certain characters like Deadshot and Poison Ivy can juggle you with their projectiles or vines from across the screen respectively, and that's not to mention how the A.I. will escape anything you throw their way.

They'll escape your own juggles, save special meter to replenish health at the last second, will catch you with another attack even if you burn your meter getting out of a bounce combo - you haven't felt pain until you've been on the receiving end of one of these bouts.

The only recourse is to find some attacks you can spam the living hell out of. After all, that's what they're doing to you.
