8 Incredible Video Game Powers You Barely Got To Use!

4. Enchanted Gladius - Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

In a survival horror like Eternal Darkness, which just loves to mess with the player at every turn, you're going to be looking for something weighty to not only defend yourself with but also to act as an anchor on reality from time to time. Unfortunately, Eternal Darkness isn't one to dole out a tonne of useful weapons, and in true "FU" fashion, only gives access to its arguably most powerful weapon, The Enchanted Gladius, come the very end of the game.

The weapon itself is genuinely amazing, infused as it is with all sorts of arcane wizardry, and can be thrown at enemies to inflict the sort of massive damage that E-sports commentators would have a meltdown over. Getting the weapon however is a drawn-out challenge, requiring you to solve puzzles with one character, collect items with another, and can only be used by a third character and only in a location that only has five enemies in.

That's right. Just FIVE enemies. That's all you get to use this amazing weapon on and this figure might be even less had you already defeated them in your prior time in the Mansion. Good. Glad to see all the effort was worth it.
