6. Marvel's Answer To Injustice
The Batman Arkham series has been the peak that superhero games have hit in the last decade, sure. But, there has been one other franchise, other than Spider-Man, to come close, namely Injustice, a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios that crafted arguably the best superhero versus superhero story in DC's long history.
It's a shame then, that Marvel doesn't really have anything to compete with it, yes their characters have been a part of the Marvel Vs. Capcom games, but there is yet to be an arena built specifically for the purpose of smashing one house of ideas hero against another.
As such, it would be fantastic if a developer could be given the rights to a whole host of Marvel characters in order to produce something of the same ilk as Injustice, I mean, there's already a pretty great story for the game to be based upon (Civil War), it just needs to be made.
