While one might immediately assume that this Zelda-centric entry is going to focus on the franchise love for "The Master Quest" which shakes up dungeon layouts, item placement and buffs enemies to sometimes ridiculous degrees, instead we're going to dive deeper into the series and look at the rather curious and brilliant cases of the Oracle Of Ages and The Oracle Of Seasons.

You see here, after completing one of the games, you would receive a code which you would then put into the other game at the beginning to start the adventure with an extra heart piece as well as opening up a tonne of new dialogue with characters in the game who would give you yet more codes to be used in the first game!

It's all a bit twisty-turny isn't it?

However the long and the short of it was that, by bouncing back and forth between the games, you could unlock new areas, quests and secrets and even a new final boss in the second game you played which acts as a culmination to both stories!

It may have taken you an age and made you feel quite seasoned with all the back and forth, but this pair of games really rewards true fans of the series in so many great ways.
