Usually when we talk about games being broken it’s pretty exclusively a bad thing but enter the realm of speedrunning for instance and all of a sudden being able to break a game is a badge of honour. Especially if you’re doing it by being too good at the game.

In this list we’re covering off on a variety of ways gamers were able to break games by playing perfectly.

Whether it was by maxing out the score counter on an old school arcade game and breaking the code or optimising the perfect build in an RPG; these methods may have busted the games underneath but they’re incredibly cool to pull off.
