8 NPCs Who Obliterate You If You Annoy Them Too Much

Anyone who's ever seen a single wrestling match will surely appreciate the time-old tradition of referees being glass-jawed folk who can be knocked unconscious by a mild gust of wind.

But this was hilariously - and seemingly, accidentally - subverted in WWE SmackDown: Here Comes the Pain, which by way of an incredible glitch allowed the refs to get their own back on aggressive players.

Firstly, it's worth noting that Here Comes the Pain allowed referees to fight back against players after being hit. 

And during a First Blood match - where you can only win by making your opponent bleed - it's possible for refs to retaliate at just the right moment, hit you with a brutal counter and make you bleed.

But in a riotous twist, this doesn't win the match for your opponent - the referee will actually inexplicably "win" the match and have their hand raised by... another referee in the celebratory post-match cutscene.

None of this makes a lick of damn sense, but it's certainly one hell of an amazing way for the ref to take control of the match and punish players who dare to attack them.
