6. Streaming To Other Screens

Second screen gaming isn't just for Wii U owners stuck with only one game on the horizon.

With a Windows 10 PC, Xbox One owners can swap the front room or bedroom for the office or kitchen by streaming games from the Xbox One, which performs all the computational grunt, through to their PC or laptop - wherever it may be in the house.

This can also include the ability to stream onto a tablet and enjoy a spot of Xbox One in bed with controller in hand and tablet on lap. The best thing is, you don't even have to have an Xbox Live Gold membership to enjoy this feature.

The streaming is done via your home network, and as mentioned, the actual processing comes from the Xbox One, so the PC doesn't have to be a high specification machine to use this feature. The main benefit is that it allows for the main television to become free. There are some drawbacks however: no video streaming such as Netflix is possible due to licensing issues and there is no way to use the Xbox One to do something different whilst the streaming is going on.

Still, it's a very nice bonus feature, and has the ability to let you record your gaming from elsewhere.
