8 Reasons To Be Excited For Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX

8. The HD Polish

Perhaps the most obvious entry on this list is the HD overhaul of the three games included. The Kingdom Hearts series has always embraced its visuals, using the presence of different worlds to offer players an ever-changing color scheme that keeps most of the games from ever getting stale from a purely aesthetic perspective. As the first ReMIX proved, the series looks great in HD, with colors popping out, rough edges rounded off and the original art direction and style still holding up over the years to benefit entirely from the upgrade rather than have its flaws even more pronounced. Considering Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep are already better-looking games by virtue of being released years after the original game, 2.5 is bound to look even more stunning in action than its predecessor. Whether we're helping Tron battle the MCU in Space Paranoids, bonding with Experiment 626 out in Deep Space or saving China from Shan-Yu in The Land of Dragons, it's going to be hard not to stop now and again to soak in how great it all looks along the way.
