8 Reasons Why Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Is Still Worth It

In a statement that came out in the week of the remaster's release, Activision confirmed the reason for not including Multiplayer. They want to have a single hub for online players, in the form of 2019’s Modern Warfare. We have already seen classic maps from the sub-series return in the reboot, including Rust from Modern Warfare 2, along with Crash, Shipment, and Vacant from the first Modern Warfare.

Expectations are high that further levels from Modern Warfare 2 will now make an appearance in the reboot, including the fan-favourite Terminal. However, for the Modern Warfare 2 remaster specifically, will anything else come? Spec Ops was the third mode on the original game, and one that many had hoped would be included. This is still possible. While there is a similar mode on Modern Warfare, 'Co-Op,' it is nothing like the original version. Including various challenges to get one, two or three stars on in quick fast paced missions, it shouldn't be too hard to produce. Surely there is no reason it couldn’t be added at a later date.
