One moment that is remembered more than any other in the series' history, is the betrayal of Captain Shepherd, and you subsequently gaining revenge on him. One of the few major plot twists in any of the Call of Duty campaigns, killing off Shepherd by the final mission has never felt (or looked) so good.

Everyone who has played the original knows it is coming, but it still feels good when you throw that knife.
