8 Reasons Why Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Is Still Worth It

1. An Overall Stunning Experience

The only practical change to the game is the graphics, but it's certainly worth repurchasing if you played the original. Looking back at Modern Warfare 2 back on the Xbox 360 and PS3, if you compare that release to the remaster, the difference is phenomenal. If you have a PS4 Pro, you will see the full potential of this remaster. The graphics are simply stunning. As mentioned previously, 'Cliffhanger' and 'The Gulag' are two missions that show off the visuals more than most. Climbing up the ice or jetting out of the prison on a wire while the building blows up around you is a true sight to behold.

However, across the game, even in other of missions where you are out in the open battlefields, the visual update is fantastic. Character models are upgraded, the lighting is near perfect, across the board they could not have done much more.

When put alongside the Call of Duty titles released since the turn of the console generation in 2013, it fits right in.
