8 Reasons Why We're Still Playing Dead Island

1. Collecting Skulls = Developer Weapons There was a wide array of hidden secrets tucked away within the world of Dead Island. The greatest of these was the ability to collect colored skulls and place them at their rightful resting place, which resulted in the discovery of hidden weapon mods. These "Developer Mods" were extremely deadly weapons that had greatly exaggerated effects, but sadly were limited by an ridiculously low durability rating. Players could create mods such as the "Left Hand of Glova" that resembled a force push, or "Mindblowing Military Knife" that required a simple shanking of zombie flesh to trigger a head explosion. These mods provided an amusing way to unleash devastation against the zombies, and is certainly a reason to jump back into the island of Banoi. After all zombies are people too. No, that's not right. Oh, zombies need to be taken out in extreme ways. It's the natural order of things. Are you still playing Dead Island? Have we made you want to take a return trip?
