8 Reasons Wolfenstein II Is Better Than Call Of Duty: WW2
4. Variety To Weapons & Gameplay
Going back to just what you're doing across the campaign itself, COD has some pretty neat Half-Life 2-esque driving sequences that see your squad barrel through the French countryside in a few different vehicles, but aside from that, this is more of the same run n' gunning in every respect - minus the need to stock up on health kits.
Again, simply because of not being constrained by reality or history, Wolfenstein gives you weapons that range from miniature black hole-launchers to laser beams, throwable hatchets to flame grenades. Its levels can be tackled stealthily if you wish, with Kommandants being targeted to eliminate reinforcements - and there's even a sequence set atop a flame-spewing mecha-dog.
This certainly isn't to say that COD should be doing anything close to what Wolfenstein II specialises in, but it stands to reason that Machinegames have something new to show you, whereas WWII just... doesn't.
