8 Things We Want To See From Lego Marvel Super Heroes

4. Better Customisation Options

Lego Indiana Jones Customisation Character customisation is now a mainstay of the Lego games with pretty much every game since Lego Star Wars II featuring it, and with some games experimenting with including a level builder. But if this is something that gets carried over to Lego Marvel Super Heroes, it needs improving. First of all, the lack of character options needs to be countered. In the previous games, there are very few specific character creation options (such as body parts from unlocked characters) and a much larger amount of more generic ones. Also, character abilities are completely tied to body parts or weapons. This is understandable for some things like a character having a jetpack or a gun, but other things such as super-strength, flight, and powers like the Force should be selectable on a separate basis. That way, we can have more free reign when creating original characters or approximations of Marvel characters not featured in the game. Also, if Travellers Tales are going to have another crack at the level builder, my suggestion would be to try and make it in such a way that the custom levels can be vaguely similar to the story mode levels rather than the more sparse obstacle course-type levels that could be built in Lego Indiana Jones 2 and Lego Harry Potter Years 1 €“ 4.
