8 Video Game Bosses That Kill You From Beyond The Grave

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines will eventually see you face off against vampire hunter Grünfeld Bach, and while the ensuing boss fight isn't particularly challenging, what follows just might catch you with your kecks down.

Once Bach has been defeated and seemingly killed, you'll need to track down professor Dr. Ingvar Johansen inside the building. After some chin-wagging with him, you'll be instructed to exit the area, only to be "greeted" by a hunched over, not-quite-dead Bach.

More to the point, before he kicks the bucket entirely, Bach detonates a series of explosives in an attempt to destroy the entire facility, with you in it no less.

At this point, you've got a mere 60 seconds - a whole-ass minute - to high-tail it outta there back to your waiting boat. While most players should get there with about 10 seconds to spare, if you make any mistakes at all, you're going to be buried along with Bach, the sod.

There's a very specific brand of douchebaggery at play here, that Bach simply couldn't face the thought of you surviving while he doesn't. It sure feels like the Germans would have a word to describe that act, right?
