8 Video Game Enemies That Made You Say WHAT?!

For those that are in the know, this name will cause a shudder to ripple through your spine, as despite looking like a cute little green goofball, this is two foot of pain that will leave you reeling and screaming "WHAT" at the top of your lungs at your TV. Everyone remembers the first time that they underestimated this little demon, who first showed up in Final Fantasy 5, but arguably made its biggest impact in Final Fantasy 7 which was the franchise's most widespread entry.

Everything you thought you knew about battling in the game is flipped on its head, as all the Tonberry appears to do is walk slowly towards your party, clutching its cute little lamp and knife that looks like it should have butter on it for how deadly it appears.

However, should the Tonberry get close enough he will proceed to shank the everloving hell out of one of your party, killing them instantly. To say this was a little bit shocking is like saying that Everest is a bit of a hill to climb, and suddenly your best-laid plans, along with your party are left sprawled out on the floor.

Never underestimate the Tonberry, for it might well be one of the most frightening monsters in the entire franchise. It's dead eyes and ever-constant advance signalling your demise.
