8 Video Game Enemies Who Won't Stay Dead!

3. Azarkhon - Magic: The Gathering

As much as the previously discussed Baldur is the most recent talk of the town when it comes to Gods who don't want to stay down, Azarkhon is the true granddaddy when it comes to "Nah I think I'll pass on the death buffet thanks" seeing as you literally can never stop this force of evil entirely!

The main objective of the 1997 Magic: The Gathering game is to disrupt the followers of Azarkhon from summoning it back to reality and basically turning your world into a piss-soaked house of cards. You do this by battling other wizards with decks you can construct yourself, and each victory will allow you to nab new cards and spells to power up your deck.

Which is something that you seriously need to do, seeing as when you finally confront Azarkhon it's rocking a health pool so deep you could swim in it, and instead of actually beating the boss, each point of damage you do banishes it for a set number of years, meaning that all you're really doing is biding time until Azarkhon returns.

Ah, I'm sure that the next generation of wizards is up to the task, just look at the insane beatdowns you can get over on MTG: Arena! I'm still convulsing!
