8 Video Game Protagonists Who Would Be Better Villains
5. Corvo Attano - Dishonored
Dishonored's protagonist Corvo Attano is freakin' awesome, because the game gives players so many potential abilities to make him an absolute menace.
His various supernatural powers include the ability to see foes through walls, perform short-distance teleportation, possess other characters, slow or freeze time entirely, summon swarms of rats, and turn dead enemies to ash.
This is without even getting to Corvo's actual arsenal of tangible weapons, too.
That is to say, Corvo is basically a terrifying wraith of a human being, capable of liberating folk of their lives with stealthy precision, all while rocking a terrifying-ass mask that'd look more at home in a horror movie.
While Corvo's fear factor is dictated by each player's play-style, those who embrace a high chaos run will basically be playing Corvo as a merchant of death to be feared by folk both good and bad.
Imagine having to take him on as the end boss in a horror game, of needing to find a way to answer his stealth attacks and put him down.
