3. Jill Valentine & Claire Redfield - Resident Evil 6 & Village

Now for an entry that is a bit different to the rest here. Jill Valentine isn’t in Resident Evil 6, or even Village. In fact, she isn’t even mentioned at all. Claire Redfield might get a passing reference, but for the most part, these two characters have fallen off the face of the earth after the Revelations Series failed to set the world on fire.

Now, this isn’t down two these two characters, but more in terms of the quality of the mainline spin-off being somewhat undercooked in parts.

All we have to do is take a look back at RE6 especially though and see the missed opportunity here. When Chris was in his time of need, why was a new character constructed when the secondary role could’ve been filled by both of these iconic women? It was right there for the taking and Cacom chose to include Piers Nivans instead.

Then with Village, there was yet another chance to bring them back and Capcom ignored them once more. Jill and Claire deserve better and should be brought back for at least one more game.
