8 Video Game Skills You Wished You Never Bought

1. Graug Hunter - Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor

Of all the frightening and strange creatures of Mordor, the Graug are truly some of the most imposing.

When you're the size of at least thirty regulation-approved British sheds and can literally eat a cave troll for breakfast, there's little for the Graug to worry about with regards to being top of the food chain, yet thanks to their massive size and humble intellect can actually be tamed and ridden by the player in Shadow Of Mordor, well as long as they've paid for the Graug Hunter skill that can be found within the game.

Now it's here that you're probably thinking to yourselves "Why Jules you Tesco Branded Gollum, why would I regret buying a skill that let me ride on these beasts into battle? That sounds as good as a copy of The Hobbit existing that doesn't absolutely suck!"

Side note: Any film that makes Sir Ian McLellan cry sucks. That is a fact.

And you're right my furry-footed friends, this Graug Hunter is brilliant...unless you're playing the game on the PS3 or 360 where the Graugs have been removed ENTIRELY.

Yes that's right, these elusive beasts are a damn sight harder to find when they're not even programmed into the game, having been cut for performance issues by the developers (and not clearly marketed as being removed). This lead many players who were following guides based on PS4 and Xbox One's completely flummoxed as to why they couldn't track down the mighty beasts, especially seeing as the Graug Hunter skill was still available for unlock.

Imagine grinding all that time to unlock the skill only to be rewarded with....absolutely nothing.
