8 Video Game Updates That Changed EVERYTHING

When you first look at a title like Vermintide 2, you might think you know everything the game is going to offer you just from the first five minutes of gameplay.

Large hordes of beasts to batter into base elements, heroes with different skills and abilities, and a glorious Warhammer Fantasy setting. You see Fat Shark Studios, in their glorious wisdom, decided that instead of plugging in yet more maps for your to bash and smash through, that they would turn the title into a rogue-like. Now parties can undertake Pilgrimages as they attempt to take down one of the four Chaos Gods, which translates into taking on multiple smaller maps in one sitting with a tonne of small mutations affecting play at every given turn.

Now you can level up weapons, gain random buffs for yourself and the party, take on bonus bosses for extra rewards, and of course sample the new potions which dramatically affect gameplay. On top of all of this is the fantastic Twitch integration, which lets viewers decide which route you take AND which enemies and horrors they unleash upon the party. It's never been more fun to go through literal hell!
