How would you fare in a zombie apocalypse? Left 4 Dead will answer that easily enough.

Left 4 Dead 2 is the ultimate game to play with friends, a masterful multiplayer experience. The game defined the horror genre, and influenced horror games for years to come.

The basic premise is a host of zombies ravenous for the taste of human flesh versus a team of plucky humans, armed to the teeth. Teamwork is absolutely vital for the humans in this game, as the different "breeds" of zombie require different skills to defeat.

The reliance on teamwork is arguably the scariest part of the game, as it adds an extra level of pressure to the players, who have to rely on their friends as much as their friends have to rely on them. The pressure that comes with this raises the stakes, and every mistake made or headshot missed could mean the end for not only the whole team.

If one person goes for glory or team communications break down, the zombies will eat well tonight. If the team works together well, however, they just might make it out alive.
