8 Video Games That Resolved Important Movie Plot Threads
4. Cleon & The Cast's Backstories - The Warriors

Oh me, oh my, it’s one of the best games Rockstar have ever kicked out, and a brilliant retelling of the cult classic, big time boppin' brawler, The Warriors. Honestly this game is brilliant from top to tail, and provides hours of scrapping with the best melee system in Rockstar history.
One of the best things about the title, besides how well it's adapted from the source material, is that while the main narrative plays out, you get to embark on side stories that flesh out the characters and their motives for joining up with The Warriors in the first place.
Ranging from a desire to run the streets or simply because they are the best muscle in the business, each of these flashback missions gives weight and credibility to the main cast.
However it’s Cleon’s tale that strikes the most memorable hit, as his flashback details a betrayal at the hands of his former friend Vergil, and how the Destroyers (his original outfit) turn their backs on him. When applied to the grander stage, this small insight makes you see the passion and the raw fury with which this Warchief operated, and therefore makes it an even greater shame when he’s cut down early in the movie.
