For many people, their first jaunt through the joy that was Morrowind was one filled with enough fighting and fantasy that even Tolkein got hot under the collar, and most would have enjoyed watching their puny adventurer develop and grow as they traded in XP for big level buffs.

Yet some canny players soon realized that there was much more fun to be had if they chose to not level up and exploit the hell out of the game's skill system.

As with many other games, the enemies of Morrowind are tied to the player's level cap, and will have their abilities and HP shoot up as the player grows, which can cause some problems if you're not at all versed in how to actually level up your character. Spend a few points poorly and you'll find that your damage output does little to curb the enemies that are now rocketing ahead of you, so why not cut out this crap and NOT level up.

You only level up in Oblivion when you choose to sleep, and outside of a main quest that forces you to do so, you can theoretically complete the game at level 2. Why would you do this? Well choosing not to level up doesn't prevent your skills from improving, meaning you can cap yourself, but still be rocking insane abilities and powers.

This obviously turns the game into an utter cakewalk, and when some of the end game bosses can be taken down in one or two powerful moves, you can't help but laugh at the fact you're doing all this as a level two character.
