In fairness, there's a strong chance this sequel to 2011's survival horror RPG doesn't even release in 2017, because its development has been rough to say the least.

Swapping developers mid-production and offering little in the way of new updates over the last year or so, it's clear that the game is in trouble, but honestly, after the original game ended up being so forgettably average, are there really many chomping at the bit for another go-around?

The little that's been shown off so far doesn't inspire much confidence, suggesting Dead Island 2 will be another generic zombie shooter that'll come and go without much fanfare.

Could It Be Any Good?: Unlikely given the rickety production, but you never know...
