9 Awesome Hidden Modes In Popular Video Games You Totally Missed

7. Guy Savage - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Now this is how you test the waters for a potential future release. To access the sequence known as 'Guy Savage', you need to actively quit out your game when Snake is captured in Groznyj Grad by Volgin's men. Continuing to play doesn't allow for Snake to sleep, which if you quit and load your save back up, will boot into this strange hack n' slash sequence instead of the main game.

Named 'Guy Savage', this was apparently going to be a standalone title from Konami at some point, and in Snake Eater, Hideo Kojima requested his team include an original idea as an easter egg, rather than Gradius, another Konami classic that was initially planned.

Ultimately, Guy Savage was cancelled and all subsequent remakes of MGS 3 had this sequence removed, but if you have the original PS2 version, check it out.
